Fire District Election 2012 - No Tax Increase PDF Print E-mail

The  Board  of  Fire  Commissioners  has  proposed  a  budget  for  2012  which  will once again result in no increase in the amount of funds raised by taxation.

This is the fourth year in a row where the Fire District tax has remained the same. 

The 2012 budget still requires voter approval. Please come out and vote on Saturday, February 18, 2012 between 2PM and 9PM at the Cinnaminson Township Community Center, 1621 Riverton Road, Cinnaminson.

The total budget for 2012 is $3,234,349, of which $2,741,234 is raised by taxation. The remaining funds come from surplus carried over from 2011, grants, interest, and inspection fees.

Practice Home Fire Drills - Get Out And Stay Out!
  • Be prepared through regular home fire drills to use emergency exit routes instinctively.
  • Installation of an approved smoke alarm.
  • Have two exits from each bedroom.
  • Have a safe meeting place.
  • Use a neighbor’s phone to call 9-1-1.
  • Hold regular home fire drills like your children do at school.
